About Blueshot
Blueshot is a lifestyle app that helps people on GLP-1 medications — Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound and others — track their injections, doses, weight, side effects and day-to-day progress. This blog exists to answer the questions our users actually ask.
Why we built it
GLP-1 medications changed fast, and the everyday questions — when the nausea fades, what to eat, why the scale stalls, what happens if you stop — were scattered across forums and buried in trial PDFs. We built the app because we wanted one calm place to log a weekly shot and see our own progress honestly. The blog is the same idea in words.
We are a small product team, not a clinic. Blueshot is a lifestyle and self-tracking tool, not a medical device, and nothing here replaces your prescriber or pharmacist.
What the app does
- Logs injections, dose changes and the day of your weekly shot.
- Tracks weight, body photos and side effects over time.
- Sends dose reminders and shows your own trend, not someone else's.
- Offers AI-assisted coaching and a community of other GLP-1 users.
How the app and the blog connect
The blog is a separate website from the app, but they share a purpose: helping people use these medications well. Over time we plan to publish anonymized, aggregate patterns from the app — for example, which week nausea tends to peak across many users — as original reporting you can't get anywhere else. When we do, it will follow the privacy and honesty rules described in our Methodology.
